All dogs being walked or boarded must be fully vaccinated and up-to-date with worming and flea/tick treatments.  A2Z Dogz will not walk / board any dog(s) that have uncontrolled medical conditions or are acutely ill.

It is the responsibility of the owner under the conditions of our agreement to disclose any circumstances that may render your dog ineligible for walking / boarding. This includes antisocial behavior and or aggression, adverse behavioral or character issues with your dog(s). Failure to do so will constitute a breach of our agreement and result in cancellation of contract.

Unfortunately, a bitch(es) in season are not permitted in group walks or to be boarded, private walks are still available whilst in season.

By law all dogs must wear an ID Tag, if your dog has no ID tag A2Z Dogz would be breaking the law to include your dog(s) on our walks. As an additional safety measure A2Z Dogz provide a generic ID tag for each dog whilst out walking with our contact details – this does not replace the main ID tag but used in conjunction with and cannot be classed as the dog(s) primary method of identification.

The initial meeting for walking will be with the dog’s owner in your property, your dog(s) will be taken for a short free of charge walk to assess them and to confirm that both parties are happy before entering into a contract. For boarding the owner and dog(s) will come to our residence for a meet & greet where your dog will meet our resident dog. We will not undertake any contract without an initial assessment.

Your dog(s) must be able to be walked in a group of no more than 6 dogs and must behave in a social friendly manner.  If your dog is not capable of being social in small groups, you will be advised and your contract will be immediately terminated, unless you opt for private walks for your dog(s).

The walk or boarding will be cut short if the dog walker believes that to continue may endanger your dog(s), the dog walker or the home boarder.

Dog(s) will not be walked off lead without the owner’s written consent. Dog(s) requiring off lead walks must have the ability to be recalled. A2Z Dogz does not accept responsibility for dogs that do not recall, however every attempt is made for this situation to be avoided.

Dogs may be slightly damp after a long walk especially during winter months; all dogs will have their coats towel dried, and paws dried upon return home.  A2Z Dogz accepts no responsibility for damage caused to property if the dog(s) are to be left unattended upon return.

Fresh drinking water is carried in our vehicles and available throughout your dog(s) time with us. Upon dropping your dog(s) home we will provide fresh drinking water. If you require for your dog(s) to be fed upon return home, please contact us to discuss details. We will feed dogs, but not provide food, this is to be provided by owner.

The stated walk length for your dog(s) does not include travel time; your dog(s) will receive a full 60 or minute walk as agreed during booking depending upon your requirements. Boarding dogs will in permission is given join a group walk as well as have a morning and evening walk.

It is highly recommended that you have adequate pet insurance for your dog(s). Veterinary bills are the responsibility of the owner, unless injury occurs as a direct result of negligence of the dog walker or boarder.

Keys provided will be kept secure, however in the event of loss or damage to keys, we are fully insured in the event of any loss as a result.

Allocation times are given, and we endeavour to meet these times within half an hour either side of the allotted time given.

The client / owner must provide all items necessary for care of your pet such as food, leads, tags, collars, harness or coats etc. Our van carries spare leads and collars in case of owner product failure, and towels for drying off wet dogs’ coats and paws, along with a fully stocked K9 first aid kit.

A2Z Dogz require two emergency contact numbers, one for the owner and a second emergency contact number of a person (aged over 18) who in the event of the primary contact being unavailable, can make decisions on your behalf in relation to the care of your dog(s) in your absence. In the highly unlikely event of both emergency contacts being unavailable, you the owner give A2Z Dogz permission to act on your behalf in the best interests of your dog(s) under the instruction of a qualified veterinarian or official body.

Full disclosure of any health issues must be made at the start of and kept updated during the term of any contract, failure to do so may result in immediate cancellation of the contract.

Your dog(s) will be looked after with 100% of our care and professionalism, however we will not be held responsible for any injury or death as a result of non-negligence on our part.

Invoices will be sent via email over the weekend and payment must be made within 5 days. If you do not have an email address, a hard copy of the invoice will be left at your property on the last session your dog(s) spend with us during that week.

Full payment for A2Z Dogz services is to be made in advance or within 5 days of the invoice date. Accepted payments are either cash or bank transfer. If payments are not made within this time period 2.5% of the total bill will be added for each day the balance remains outstanding. A2Z Dogz services will be withdrawn until balance is settled. All late payments will incur a fee of £10.00.  A2Z Dogz reserve the right to cancel your contract at any time for repeated late payments.

Owners must email, text or call with their requirements no later than Thursday the week before they require A2Z Dogz services.  A2Z Dogz payment period runs from Saturday – Friday. Weekend bookings must be made by 5pm on the Thursday of that week. Late or same day bookings will incur a late fee of £5 plus the existing service charge.

Cancellation of walks must be notified to A2Z Dogz by email text or phone, with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice before scheduled walk(s) are due to commence. Failure to do so will result in the full rate being charged. For home boarding a £50 non-returnable deposit is to be paid to secure the dates at the time of booking. Cancellations are still chargeable at our discretion in full, unless, that space can be filled by an alternative dog.

All owners / clients will be accepting of all terms and conditions laid out herein when signing a contract with us at A2Z Dogz.Contracts will only be signed if both parties are happy to enter into the contract and only after an initial meeting and the relevant information sheets are completed to ensure both parties are satisfied.

Unless permission is specifically revoked in writing, it is to be assumed permission has been granted for the potential use of images of your dog(s) for use on our website and or promotional material. No images of dogs will be made available for third parties use.
